I grew up in Santa Clarita and graduated from Hart schools. My wife and I are raising our family here, and two of our children are students at Hart High right now.
I built a construction company from the ground up and today oversee projects, budgets and teams every day. I've also spent 15 years coaching SCV students in soccer, track, flag football and mountain biking.
I'm running to make sure every student in our district has the opportunity to learn, grow and build the future they deserve.

I took AP classes at Hart, and I've spent my career in construction. I'm the product of strong academics and getting my hands dirty, and I don't think this district has to choose between them. Students who want a demanding AP load and a competitive path to a four-year university should be able to get it. Students who want to build things should have a real technical pathway that leads to a career, not just a leftover elective. Success isn't a single route; it's whether students are equipped with what they need to pursue what comes after.
That takes three things:
Teachers are the engine of our schools — not a line item, the engine.
Support them, keep them, and back them up. No student gets a strong education without a teacher who is respected and equipped to give it.
Resource officers and real support matter — but culture matters more.
Safety is whether a student has one adult on campus who knows their name and would notice if something were wrong. Nobody learns well where they don't feel safe.
Parents deserve a board that treats them as partners.
That means listening well, providing straight answers, and keeping budgets open and transparent.
